Microsoft PowerApps

The embedded video is a demonstration of a PowerApp I developed for an elementary campus. The app establishes a house system for the campus to drive friendly competition between the students. The data for the App is stored in SharePoint which is part of the school district’s Microsoft license. The use of this application by the campus costs $0. When data security is a paramount concern, apps are safer when the data is stored in Microsoft Dataverse, which offers line-level security.

I have additional apps that I have made that cannot be shared in this public setting due to FERPA and Workplace privacy laws.

  • Administrative walk-through app that allows the campus and district administrators to set goals that appear in the app for quick assessments in an active classroom with automatic feedback to the educator being observed.

  • Content Mastery time tracking app that allows campus level Special Education leaders to monitor student access time in content mastery.

  • Progress Report App that allows our Alternative campus for students labeled “at-risk” to easily track student progress towards graduation.
